Bodegas Nekeas, Blanco 2023

Bodegas Nekeas is a cooperative winery run by 5 families in the Nekeas Valley, just outside of Pamplona in northern Spain. The families pride themselves on handling everything themselves in both the vineyards & winery; from planting, to harvesting, bottling and selling. Blanco 2023 is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Viura; it's a great wine for everyday drinking and makes for a perfect "house white". Aromas of peach and honeydew melon are on the nose, with a bright citrussy palate and a pleasant tropical-filled finish. It's a great pair with salads and lighter pasta dishes.
